A little note before the legal necessities: We’re a small team making hoodies for people to feel like they belong. By ordering from SecondHand Kids, you’re supporting a limited, made-to-order label. The terms below help keep everything clear for both of us.

1. Eligibility
By placing an order, you confirm you’re at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian to purchase from us.

2. Orders and Pre-Orders
All products are made to order.
Orders placed during pre-order windows will be produced and shipped within the timeframes stated on the product page. If for any reason we can’t meet those timeframes, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.
Once an order is placed, changes might not be possible — but if you get in touch quickly at support@secondhandkids.co, we’ll do our best to help.

3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in NZD or AUD.
Payments are processed securely through our payment provider, and we don’t store your card details.
Customers outside New Zealand are responsible for any duties, taxes, or import fees that may apply.

4. Shipping
Shipping rates are as listed on the product page.
Estimated delivery times are listed on the product page but may vary depending on production or courier delays.
Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking details by email.
We’re not responsible for courier errors or delays once your order leaves us, but we’ll always do our best to help if something goes wrong.

5. Returns and Exchanges
Because each hoodie is made to order, please check the size guide carefully before purchasing.
If there’s an issue with sizing, quality, or a mistake with your order, email support@secondhandkids.co and we’ll work it out together.
Refunds or replacements are handled on a case-by-case basis, consistent with your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

6. Product Information and Colour
We do our best to show colours and details accurately.
However, the colour of the hoodie may appear slightly different in person due to variations in photography lighting, screen settings, and individual devices.
These small differences aren’t considered a fault — just the reality of showing fabric through a screen.

7. Intellectual Property
All content on this site — including designs, logos, images, text, and branding — belongs to SecondHand Kids.
Please don’t use or reproduce it without permission.

8. Liability
We’ll do our best to deliver your order as described, but we’re not liable for delays or issues outside our control (for example, postal delays, customs hold-ups, or force-majeure events).
 Nothing in these terms limits your rights under New Zealand’s Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986.

9. Updates to these Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on our website when you placed your order.

10. Privacy
Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
